About the Role

XL Staffing is hiring experienced Delivery Drivers / Lift Operators to support a busy cabinet delivery and installation team. This role is ideal for a safety-minded, team-oriented professional who is comfortable operating material-handling equipment and assisting with hands-on cabinet delivery at construction sites throughout San Diego County.

You will report to the El Cajon shop each morning and travel with the delivery team to various job sites.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate equipment such as:

    • Scissor lifts

    • Reach forklifts (Pettibone)

    • Boom lifts / aerial lifts

  • Assist with loading, transporting, and unloading cabinets

  • Carry and position cabinets at job sites as part of a team

  • Read tape measures accurately to 1/16" of an inch

  • Assist with cabinet preparation using tools such as:

    • Table saw

    • Air nail gun

    • Other hand and power tools

  • Follow all safety procedures and job site requirements

  • Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth deliveries

  • Prior experience operating scissor lifts, reach forklifts, boom lifts, or aerial lifts

  • Ability to lift and carry cabinets safely as part of a team

  • Strong understanding of job site safety practices

  • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16"

  • Experience with basic power tools (table saws, nail guns, etc.) is a strong plus

  • Dependable transportation to the El Cajon shop

  • Team-focused attitude with a strong work ethic

This is a physical, safety-sensitive role. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and committed to working as part of a professional delivery team.
