Weekend Security Guard - Fire Watch
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine foot patrols around the ship undergoing retrofitting.
- Monitor and inspect gauges to ensure proper function.
- Identify and report any leaks or irregular activities promptly.
Shift Availability:
- 0630-1430 Saturday, Sunday and holidays
Project Duration:
Expected to continue through November.
Job Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs is a requirement.
Some of the ladder openings are 3’x3’ or smaller and descend 30+ feet.
MUST have steel or composite safety slip resistant shoes or boots.
Boots must be leather/ steel toe slip resistant.
PPE is to be worn at ALL times. That being a hardhat and safety glasses (they provide)
Training is during the 7am to 3pm time frame during the weekdays.
This is on federal property and requires a background check and drug test to gain access to the area we are working.
