Job Description

This client company specializes in the maintenance, inspection, testing, documenting and cleaning of mechanical HVAC systems.

 In San Diego a lot of that work is on naval ships.

We are hiring a general laborer to assist the technician in this process.

 Hours will be Monday to Friday 7am to 330pm

This job offers an opportunity to be hired by client after 90 days, and then grow into a technician role.

 

Job Requirements

Must pass a background check including National Criminal Database check.

Must provide diploma from high school, trade school or college.

Must pass a drug screen for work on federal property (the test includes THC test)

Will need to obtain the DBIDS Metro Badge as well as the process for access to other ship yards.

Looking for candidates who are mechanically inclined, have previously used hand tools in a work environment.

Must be willing and able to life up to 50 lbs.

 

Military background is a plus.

Sheet metal experience is a plus.
