Job Description

The position is responsible for coordinating all Chamber membership including membership recruitment, sales, and retention. While reporting directly to the President & CEO, the Membership Coordinator will handle all membership tasks from start to finish. As the primary point of contact for member relations, the Membership Coordinator will primarily coordinate with the CEO, Chamber members, business owners, sales, and marketing teams. Oversee & coordinate all membership activities, campaigns as well as drive the membership committee with the Vice Chair of Membership.  Our goal is to Showcase The Chamber to maximize our outreach to community members, retain and engage current members, and encourage membership growth through fun interactive networking and showing value for being a member.

 

  • Oversee all membership duties as assigned and in the job description
  • Work with in-house team and outside contractors to create and distribute membership information and benefits on social media, websites, and other marketing/media outlets
  • Establish standardized membership retention procedures and train staff or volunteers into properly executing them as a team
  • Work with the President & CEO on creating and hitting membership budget targets
  • Expected bring in at least 12 new members per month
  • Expected to maintain/retain 90-95% of all membership

  • Experience in an office environment
  • Experienced in data entry, copying, and scanning operations.
  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
  • Able to handle difficult situations with diplomacy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher).
